Richard H. Grimm Richard H. Grimm is Director of the Berman Center for Outcomes and Clinical Research, as well as Chief of the Division of Clinical Epidemiology at the Hennepin County Medical Center, both in Minnesota. He is also Professor of Internal Medicine and Professor in the Division of Epidemiology at the University of Minnesota. He has been Principal Investigator in 11 large NIH trials and was an Established Investigator for the American Heart Association, a Fellow for the American Heart Association's Council on Cardiovascular Epidemiology, and was named a Clinical Hypertension Specialist by the American Society of Hypertension. Richard's committee memberships include the American Heart Association, the NIH and the Association of Black Cardiologists. He also chaired the drug subcommittee for JNC IV and was a member of the KDOQI lipid guidelines for chronic kidney disease. He is a Board Member of both the Parents Advocacy Coalition for Children with Disabilities and the Multiple Risk Factors in Cardiovascular Disease International Advisory Board. Richard has published over 180 articles and serves as a founding Board member of AACT.
